Group Fitness Class Descriptions
BOOT CAMP â€“
Required) BootCamp is a high intensity, dynamic group training program
that combines active stretching with cardio conditioning and interval cross
training. BootCamp utilizes an array of equipment such as kettle bells, sand
bags, tires, ropes and many other functional training tools under the
guidance of experienced personal trainers.
BOOT CAMP right for me?
- combines yoga, Pilates, light weights, and a secret weapon that celebs
swear byâ€”barre work. It strengthens your deepest belly muscles, pulling in
your waist like a corset, while lifting your butt, trimming your thighs, and
toning your arms.

Foundations â€“ This Session/class concentrates on getting our members to a common base of training knowledge so they can enjoy a variety of effective workouts and not get bored doing the same thing. Many of our members love to workout but they donâ€™t always know what to do next, in general they need guidance and a structured program to get results. Foundations teaches basic movements which all trainers use throughout the club in a successful workout program. Foundations demonstrates and educates members on natural human movements through proper warm up and workout progressions. Foundations will help you â€śstand up, sit down, reach, lift, twist, bend, move and play with the kids and grandkids comfortably.â€ť We would like to find out where you are on the path to fitness. We realize that your time is valuable and we would like to help you reach your goals in the shortest period of time.
Hatha Yoga â€“ This class is a
great place to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become
comfortable with yoga.
Bell/Boxing Boot Camp â€“ A
combination of heavy bags and kettle bells in a circuit format allows you to
work up a great sweat, burn calories and tone muscles.
(Class is held in the
Blue Room and
strength, endurance and core stability using kettle bells under the guidance
of kettle bell certified trainer Bob Spina.
Core â€“ Total focus = total
toning for the abs.
uniquely mixes the beautiful sculpting and flexibility of Pilates and boxing
moves into a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout,
guaranteed to whip you into shape. In addition to Pilates and boxing
movements, the exercise incorporates the use of weighted gloves which add to
the workout by toning the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health.
Qi Gong â€“Uses
breathing and energy style of the ancient Chinese to increase stamina and
help provide a flexible work out for all major muscle groups and aid in
breathing a healthy brain. Check it out every Monday with Scott 6:30om
Silver Sneakers â€“ Designed
for seniors to promote muscular strength, range of motion and stability.
SPINÂ® â€“ Bring
the outdoors in on a stationary bike and let the music move you while you
jump, sprint, and climb to burn the calories.
SPINÂ® Yoga - 30
minutes of intense spin followed by 30 minutes of Vinyassa yoga.
Allows your body to go into deep stretches as it is already warm.
Good for all levels.
Stix Yoga -
An ancient and unique yoga style that brings energy and strength training to
the yoga student. It helps correct postures and breath work while the body
energy and Chi are elevated to give a feeling of well being.
